Brandon Rogers says: Goodbye American Idol
2007-03-16 13:09:00 After forgetting the words to his song on Tuesday's American Idol, Brandon Rogers can forget about going any further in the competition. The 28-year-old Los Angeles native became the first finalist to be voted off the sixth season Wednesday, after flubbing the lyrics to Diana Ross' You Can't Hurry Love. Rogers' memory lapse wasn't the only flaw in his performance, which the judges deemed boring and unoriginal.

As usual, instead of looking happy or relieved that he was safe, Malakar looked miserable and guilty. Haley did not even penetrate the bottom three. Instead it was Phil Stacy, despite his good vocal performance the night before.Dianna Ross performed which I was psyched to see. So, without a doubt, this bullshit is worthy of a post.I wanna launch into a long rant, but I dunno if I should. I wanna spare you guys. I don't watch American Idol for many, many reasons and last night's results show gave me another reason to add to my list.The show is trash to the point where I no longer blame Jennifer Hudson for saying American Idol was "a stepping stone."It's not a show that contestants can be proud of since this talent competition becomes something other than a talent competition, and continuous insults and fights amongst the judges receives lots of airplay.
