Also included are items such as guitars played by Kurt Cobain and Johnny Cash, a trumpet played by Miles Davis and handwritten notes by Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney and Janis Joplin. The Edge will host with Aaron Neville performing. It seems that we report on a Yoko Ono lawsuit about once a month. This time, the shoe is on the other foot as Massachusetts based World Wide Video has filed a copyright infringement suit against Ono for nine-hours of footage showing ex-Beatle John Lennon talking about and using drugs along with writing the songs Remember and Mind Games. The footage was shot in 1970 by Ono's ex-husband Anthony Cox.The company tried to show a film made from the footage last yea...

Bryan Ferry - Dylanesque
2007-06-27 13:15:00 Roxy Music lideri ve önemli şahsiyet Bryan Ferry hiç vazgeçmediği Bob Dylan sevgisini cover şarkılardan oluşan Dylanesque ile yeniden tazeliyor. 11 tane klasik Dylan çalışmasının bulunduğu Dylanesque, Ferry'nin ayırt edici sesiyle kimi zaman orjinalinden oldukça farklı. Sağlam rock parçası "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" baştan çıkaran bir Ingiliz şarkısına dönüşüyor. Ferry'nin o yaşlanmayan pamuk

Bryan Ferry's Nazi Musings
2007-04-17 05:51:00 There was cool invincibility about Bryan Ferry as Roxy Music's front man. There was never anything grungy about Ferry either. His haute style was like an inadvertent finger to lank haired and grizzled rockers everywhere. Who else but Ferry could sashay onto the stage wearing a black lacquer suit, handiwork of Hedi Slimane of the House of Dior Homme. He's always been a fashionista along Vogue-appropriate lines. None of the irony of P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg and co. No massive jewelry, faux fur coats or outsize floppy hats.In 2006 he signed on to become the celebrity face of Marks and Spencer's mens clothing line, a company founded by Russian-Jewish refugees. Their descendants aren't likely to be thrilled by Ferry's recent public declarations of admiration for Nazi aesthetics. In an interview with Welt Am Sontag Ferry confirmed reports that he had named his home office "the Fuherbunker". He then went on to wax eloquent about the presentation skills of the Nazis ..."But the way in whi...

Bryan Ferry makes Dylan better
2007-02-26 20:10:01 Bryan Ferry will soon release an album with Dylan songs: Dylanesque. I know Bob Dylan is an important musician who has had and still has a big influence on the world of rockmusic. But I have never been a big fan of him. Not that I dont like him at all, I can stand listening to him and some songs are better. I think it is something with his voice that make me dislike it. But know, a friend of mine works with musicreviews and I have listened to Dylanesque, the album with the Roxy Music-leader Bryan Ferry. And that is what I would call Dylan. Bryan Ferry transform songs of Dylan into more genuine rock. Read more about Bryan Ferry in Wikipedia: Bryan Ferry (born 26 September 1945 in Washington, Sunderland) is an English singer, musician, songwriter and occassional actor famed for his suave visual and vocal style, who came to public prominence in the 1970s as lead vocalist and principal songwriter with Roxy Music.
