Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NY was sooooo incredibly exciting! It seemed like everyone in the world was there! We went to preview the Pamella Roland show but we also got an invitation from Alex McCord, a Real Housewife of New York, to attend Walter Baker's show at Style 360. NY Fashion Week Moving Away From Bryant Park Tents...
2009-02-03 16:59:00 New York Fashion Week is moving away from Bryant Park beginning in 2010 and I honestly don't know how I feel about that. It's moving to a park in Lincoln center further uptown. Organizers say that the event has outgrown Bryant Park. I don't know, it's just gonna feel different somewhere else. 2007-09-08 01:26:00 Upon my arrival at NYC Fashion Week's Spring 2008 shows (my first!) I was pleasantly surprised to see so many fashionista's, stylemakers, and the chicest of the chic putting comfort first at the tents. And even though I hadn't attended previously, I had done my homework on what to wear, and I have to say that the common theme overall was WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES! So even though a high-heel would have really given a couple of my Fashion Week outfits that final finishing touch, my comfy ballet flats have been in full effect! And as you can see above, I wasn't alone. From flat sandals to ballet flats to some even showing up to the tents in sneakers, then changing into their heels... and then back into their sneakers, it just goes to show, it's fashionable to be comfy.Pic Source: Style.com/Sartorialist
