GOLD IS ON THE VERGE OF MOVING INTO THE BUBBLE PHASE OF THE BULL MARKET
2011-12-16 03:37:00
I know that during a correction of the magnitude we are seeing right now it seems more like the gold bull is dead than on the verge of moving into what I expect will be one of the greatest parabolic moves in history. However, all of the conditions necessary to launch the bubble phase are now in place. Gold is in the process of putting in an intermediate degree bottom. That bottom, which is only days away if it didn’t already happen today, is going to be the single greatest buying opportunity, probably of the decade. Gold sentiment is at multiyear lows. Retail traders that bought at $1900 have gotten wiped out. The media is full of stories . . . → Read More: GOLD IS ON THE VERGE OF MOVING INTO THE BUBBLE PHASE OF THE BULL MARKET

A normal Bull market retracement?
2009-05-17 15:17:00
Finally we closed the week in the black. Many had asked why wasn't the blog updated. The truth is, i was keeping to my plan: to wait for the retracement to complete and i shall try long. May is coming to an end...The notion of sell in May, go away lingers on my mind. Anyhow, to me, the current upward trend is still intact. Many had said this is a bear market rally... it has ended. I for 1 will not be worried about that, to me, so long market is in a trend, that is where i can make easy money. Since my indicators are telling me uptrend, i shall continue to look to buy. The timing is crucial and as of now, the market hasn't turned. I checked the global indices, the leading sectors and stocks... we ain't going down as yet. For assurance, it will be good if we have a powerful rally to take out the previous high. Otherwise deja vu.Let us be clear, what can be the catalyst for a selldown or resume of bear market? Bank's stress test reveals that only 74B need to be raised......

Is This the End of the Gold Bull Market?
2008-05-13 10:18:00
By Dr. Steve Sjuggerud: When I'm sizing up an investment, I look for three things: 1) cheap, 2) hated, 3) uptrend. Right now, gold stocks are incredibly cheap. For example, Seabridge has 50 million ounces of gold resources in the ground... Here's some simple math: 50 million ounces of gold, at $1,000 an ounce, is worth $50 billion. Oh, and I haven't mentioned Seabridge's 8.2 billion pounds of

The Bull Market is Over - What's Next?

Curiosity ? Trading OpportunityLive markets can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived (traded) forwardsGuest Post by Deepak Singh Plain Vanilla Bull market is over...and now everyone is concerned - What next? To exploit this curiosity - There is a new Television program on CNBC called HUNT for the Bottom. The best minds on market are going to share their opinion and help Indian public at large on what should they do - Get scared by Shankar Sharma or Get overly bullish by Sameer Arora or Get confused. Now, first thing first - the rationale behind that program is not to discover - where is the bottom? Because nobody knows where the bottom is. The objective - Generate huge viewership interest because there is a natural human tendency to look for relief in times of uncertainty. But does this all matter. After few years of trading and making and losing money - Here are my learnings -You cannot predict the market - The financial markets are generally unpredictable. So that o...

Is there bull market ahead?
2008-03-17 19:31:00
To my previous post. Nevertheless looking at current market I am becoming more and more bullish. Major indices are well of its latest high from October 2007. If this was entering point for bear market we are already 5 months in. FED has adjusted interest rates significantly and tomorrow we can see another sharp cut (0.75 or even 1%). We just enter quarter in which first cuts could be reflected in corporate earnings and activities.Market mood is very bad due to financials. But on the other side what worse could come.Financials will report next losses due to writedowns? ...They will, No surprise.US economy will enter recession? ...Not official statement yet and markets already gave up more that 2 years gains. In addition everyone expects recession, again No surprise.I think bottom is found where the mood is at worst level and in my view we are close to that.http://stockweb.blogspot.c-om/atom.xml
The Real Story about the Bull Market
2008-03-15 03:53:00
by Geezer Power …7:53 pm Behind the Scenes in the Beltway by Al Martin (3-10-08) A major meltdown in the markets was narrowly averted on Friday, March 7, when the Federal Reserve announced a doubling of its Term Auction Facility (TAF) money auction from $50 to $100 billion dollars per month (which is effectively 28 day money). In its announcement, the Fed said that the reason it was doing this was because of continuing illiquidity in the nation’s subprime markets, subprime municipal junk and junk bond market. In other words, by this action, the Fed is saying that $50 billion a month is not enough. It is not providing enough short-term liquidity to allow the financial institutions that carry inventories and make markets in these securities to do what they are in business to do — to maintain liquid markets in these securities. This is very serious indeed. The Truth is not Out There The Truth Is In Here. The Conspirators: Secrets of an Iran Contra Insider by Al Martin...

Has the bull market run its course?
2007-06-26 18:51:00
Hello all,Below is a news article about every investor's concern now....has the bull slowed down?Be sure to catch the next article on my next blog post, after you finish reading this article.=======================-=============By Katie Benner, Fortune reporter(Fortune Magazine) -- Oh, what a glorious first half it was for the stock markets this year! Share prices shrugged off recession warnings, they brushed off the subprime loan meltdown, and they scoffed at the Shanghai stock scare. By June 4 the S&P 500 index was up 9.4 percent for the year. Then came the market equivalent of kryptonite - inflation! rising bond yields! - and the markets staggered before regaining form. As the second half of the year begins, stockholders are skittish, so we decided the time was right to consult Wall Street's top sages and pose the question on every investor's mind: Has the bull market run its course? Not just yet. At least, that's the consensus of the strategists we interviewed. The market will...

Double, Double Toil and Trouble; Fire Burn and Caldron Bubble
2007-06-04 14:28:00
The S&P finally closed at a new high last week. The Dow hit another record high. The Chinese stock market sold off 6% in one day, yet the price of Chinese ADR’s (the shares of Chinese companies traded in the US) actually rose.   Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?   Against the Gods: The Remarkable Story of Risk tells the story of financial bubbles which have occurred throughout history. The best known is the Dutch tulip bulb craze which took place in the 1600’s. (I know, the Dutch seem like such sensible people.) The Dutch became smitten with tulips imported from Turkey.  The price of bulbs, depending upon color and rarity of the tulip, was bid up to ridiculous levels. After all, they don’t cure cancer and you can’t eat them (they’re poisonous). And this is where the story usually ends.    But there’s more. At one point, you could buy a nice townhouse on a goo...
Is The Bull Market Over For Precious Metals ?
2007-05-18 07:13:00
In general analyst believe precious metal investments currently represent great value in comparison to other investment opportunities. It is important to look at investing from as broad an overview as possible. Looking at a few months of a stock chart is like reading only a few sentences in an entire book. You only get part of the story. It is much easier to make a profit investing in a very slow moving, long term monthly chart, than a short term intra day chart. When an investor backs up and reads the full story, the picture and strategy to make money becomes clearer. It is believed that commodities in general and precious metals specifically are currently available at a sale price. So what does the story of investing look like today? We know that as individuals people can be very unique. However, group behavior is much more predictable. On average, a large group of people will react in a similar fashion under certain circumstances. Knowing this fact can help us understand investing...

Gold Bull Market Looks Rested Ready to Soar
1969-12-31 19:00:00
The price action in the gold bull market has probably caused a lot of nervous concern on the part of gold traders over the past few weeks. After soaring to all time nominal highs above $1000 an ounce earlier this year the gold market pulled back about 25%, enough to shake out the weaker speculators and ...
