2008-06-04 04:07:00 STATE SENATOR WORKING HARD TO TURN OUT DEAD SUPPORTERS Proving once again that consultant Rod Shealy truly is the master of using unconventional — and often illegal — tactics to get his candidates a win at any cost, State Sen. Catherine Ceips recently dropped a mailer that was, quite literally, a last ditch effort. The piece featured the characteristic “We Proudly Support _______ candidate” piece that Shealy is known for unleashing toward the end of a campaign featuring a huge list of local yokels. Ceips’ list, however, featured a new Shealy trick; or at least one that hadn’t been caught until now.
