There's something about going out to the mailbox and finding an envelope with my name and address hand-written on it ... It's so rare these days. And the number of cards we receive is dwindling every year, unfortunately. Some people claim that e-cards save paper and postage, and therefore are better for the environment. Maybe so, but for the enjoyment factor, you might as well not bother. You can't enjoy an e-card the same as a paper card. You can't display it on your mantle, for starters. An e-card is nothing but a gesture, not the personalized mini-gift of a real card, especially if it's hand-made. Above is a photo of the cards I made this year.
