Rosenthal Suggests Delgado for Sexson
2008-05-18 19:56:00 …in this video. It’s an interesting proposition. Seattle has been interested in Carlos Delgado in the past, and his left handed bat would fit nicely into the lineup and Safeco Field, but I’m not sure such a deal would be in Seattle’s best interest. While Delgado strikes out slightly less and is hitting for a better average, ...
Tsk Tsk Carlos Delgado
2008-04-28 06:38:00 So I was watching the Mets vs. Braves game on Sunday. After Carlos Delgado's 2nd home run of the game, the fans wanted a curtain call from him. Did he do it? No. He refuse to give them what they wanted. Then he proceeded to sit there in the dugout with a giant smile on his face. Now I'm not a Mets fan, but shame on you Carlos for being a complete ass to fans that support you.

Mets slugger Carlos Delgado: `We know that we had the best team? (AP)
2008-01-04 03:47:00 Carlos Delgado thinks the New York Mets have learned their lesson. Trying to win their second consecutive NL East title, the Mets went 5-12 down the stretch last year and became the first major league team that failed to finish in first place after leading by seven games or more with 17 remaining. “It was ...

Carlos Delgado Has Lost His Fire
2007-06-19 17:08:00 Carlos Delgado looks like Frodo about halfway through Return of the King. You know, Frodo's at the point where he knows he needs to keep on going, but the ring is just too much to bare. Sam Gamgee has to drag him up Mount Doom, and it appears they have come all this way just for Frodo to fall

Carlos Delgado is Back [David Stefanini]
2007-05-30 05:01:00 Well it looks as if the most dangerous team in the NL just got more dangerous. Carlos Delgado is back and swinging the bat like the Delgado of old. For the beginning part of the season it looked as if Delgado may never snap out of his early season funk, well thankfully he did. He may be on the down side of his career, but tonight he made it look easy.Delgado hit two home-runs including a 12th inning walk off homer of Armando Benitez. Going into the game he was batting .239, but he has been on a recent power surge. There was a time that David Wright and Delgado had a combined 2 home runs. Now they have 16 between the two of them. Now that Delgado found his power swing, I wouldn't expect him to lose it any time soon. http://img68.imageshack.us/my.p-hp?image=amerlegendslogo5wj.gif-

Carlos Delgado vs. Robinson Cano
2007-03-04 10:28:02 Time for our first player comparison/deathmatch. But Tim, you're asking, why did you choose Carlos Delgado and Robinson Cano? Great question! I choose this pair because they are considered very similar in value according to both their Average Draft Positions and my dollar rankings. I have Delgado at $15.52, Cano at $15.49. Delgado's ADP last week was 54.66, whereas Cano's was 53.23. So, nearly indistinguishable players. I have Delgado hitting .274-36-105-86-0 in 522 ABs. I have Cano at .307-21-88-80-4. Delgado is the 10th best first baseman, and Cano is the third best second baseman. By now you probably see where I'm going with this. You have to choose the second baseman in a scenario like this. You just can't ignore the argument for position scarcity. Say your league's goal was just to compile the overall roto offense, with no consideration for a player's position. Among the 168 position players drafted, there...
