Caricatura Carlos Queiros

2008-07-12 02:54:00 Image details: Manchester United v Chelsea - UEFA Champions League Final served by picapp.comCarlos Queiroz has left Manchester United to become the new Portugal manager, I think that this has become pretty obvious during the last few days.I would have loved Queiroz to stay at United but good luck to him.Queiroz has signed a four year deal and Manchester United are now looking for a new assistant. This has brought to an end his second spell at United which has seen him win two Premier League titles, Champion's League title and a Carling Cup and Community Shield winners medals.Queiroz was first at United during the 2002-2003 season but then he became the Real Madrid boss, but then he rejoined United in 2004.Here is what Queiroz, David Gill and Sir Alex Ferguson have said:Fergie:?Carlos is one of the best coaches in world football," Ferguson said. "His attention to detail, ability to innovate and will to win have been a key factor to the team?s recent successes. He has played an impor...

Carlos Quits United
2008-07-10 03:49:00 Image details: Manchester United Training Session served by picapp.comIt is thought that Carlos Queiroz has left Manchester United for the Portugese National job last night. A £1.5million compensation package has been agreed and we are now looking for a new assistant manager.Former United striker Brian McClair, academy director at Old Trafford, is the favourite but other names have been banded around such as Cantona- who is the fans favourite.I haven't seen anything official yet on the clubs website but im pretty sure Queiroz will be leaving which is a shame because I thought he was a great number two who was instrumental in the Nani, Ronaldo and Anderson transfers.Good luck to himMan United Devils is a blog which is updated everyday. Cristiano Ronaldo Latest
2008-07-04 06:00:00 There have been a few rumours on the latest of Cristiano Ronaldo today, not much of a surprise though is it?Apparently, and I personally dont think it is true, Manchester United have accepted an offer from Real Madrid for Ronaldo. This is coming from news sources in Spain.According to a well-respected national radio station Onda Cero, Real Madrid have reached a "principle of agreement" with Manchester United over Ronaldo. It is understood that Ronaldo's transfer to Santiago Bernabéu will be finalised in the next few days and will involve a fee in the region of 90 million euros. This has totally contradicted the other piece of information I have for you:Ronaldo's older sister has said that Ronaldo wants to stay at United.Speaking to The Sun, she says:"Cristiano wants to keep playing at Manchester United,""Real Madrid keep making very strong advances for him. There is a lot of speculation in the newspapers all the time about where he will go and what he is doing but we know who he re...

Queiroz to Spurs?
2008-06-01 12:07:00 Apparently Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz was offered the Tottenham job earlier in the season.Queiroz has said: "I turned down a salary four times bigger than what United offered me because I felt I owed them." I don't think there would have been any chance of him going there anyway especially when there is a good chance or him managing United when Fergie retires. What a hard choice- Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur. No offence to Spurs though especially as my mum is a Spurs fan.SourceWatch the latest videos on YouTube.comMan United Devils is a blog which is updated everyday. Fergie to retire
2008-05-25 13:06:00 Well we all know that Fergie will retire someday but today he has been a little bit more specific about when that will be. He has said that he will retire within three years which will take him upto 70 years old."I won't be managing here when I'm 70. No, never. I can assure you of that," Ferguson said."I won't be managing here any more than three years at the very, very, very most - no question."There is a time when you have to think about time for yourself. You know, my wife is getting older and I have to think about that."I think she deserves a bit of my time. The older you get, the more guilty you feel about it. What I would like to do in life is travel to places I have never been to."I would love to go to the States and spend about three or four months there. I will still be involved with United in some shape or form. I hope so because I have a good relationship."There is no chance of me ever being sacked. I think it will be my decision and [chief executive] David Gill is hap...

Steve Bruce Next United Manager
2008-05-09 19:20:00 There is much speculation that if United win the Premier League and Champion's League then the boss (Fergie) will retire. Now i will start off by saying i dont think he will retire for a few more years, he has plenty left to give. Wigan Chairman Dave Whelan had this to say:?When United come to choose a new manager, if they go for Steve Bruce you have no chance of standing in their way,? Whelan said in the Daily Star.?I wouldn?t contemplate doing so if United came for Steve. I would be delighted for him and sorry for the club.?If Sir Alex wins another European title this year - which I hope he does - he may decide he has had enough.?Now, many of ex United players have been linked with the job- Steve Bruce, Mark Hughes, Roy Keane. But why not look closer to home? I think that Queiroz should be given the chance to replace Fergie. Queiroz could also bring us some more fantastic portugese players like Ronaldo and Nani. Yes, i do include Nani as being a good player, he is young and naive...

Ronaldo and the penalty miss
2008-04-25 21:25:00 Now we all know about Ronaldo's penalties miss but didnt realise how badly he took it. The Sun had an interview in it with another Portugese star- Luis Nani. Nani said that he had to pick Ronaldo off the floor. The next penalty United have i will back Ronaldo, he is human and he will miss penalties. Other ManUtd players and staff have also backed Ronaldo, do you?Nani:?I had to comfort Cristiano in the changing room after the game as he was very down after missing the penalty.??All of us have given him encouragement. He?s been so instrumental for us all season and has won so many games for us.?He is a born winner and he?ll help us beat Barcelona and reach the final.?We?ll be ready to knock them out at Old Trafford.?Rooney:?He?s an unbelievable player and I?m sure that the penalty miss won?t affect him at all. He?s scored 38 goals this season."He?s missed a penalty, but it?s difficult up front on his own and he did well. His football speaks for itself. All the great players have misse...

Quieroz to Benfica?
2008-04-24 13:43:00 Last month Benfica's coach quit and since then United assistant manager has been linked with the job. Reports are now saying that Benfica will offer Queiroz a four year deal during the summer.I would be pretty disappointed if Queiroz left United, he has played a big part in getting improtant players to the club- Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson. I also think that he would make a good successor to Ferguson when he retires. What do you think, should he leave? if he does who should replace him? Do you want him to leave?Man United Devils is a blog which is updated everyday. 2008-04-16 16:18:00 The papers have been speculating about Ronnys future at United ever since the 2006 World Cup when apparently there was a big falling out between Ronaldo and Rooney.Ronaldo has constantly been linked with the Spanish Giants Real Madrid, Madrid have said that they would love to have him, well who wouldnt?Earlier in the week United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz has said that Ronaldo is priceless and United wouldn't accept any amount of money.Ronaldo has had his say, this is what he said:Ronaldo told The Sun: "I just don't care what the whole world seems to want to say about me or speculate about my future."I've said it a thousand times and by now people should realise, I'm totally happy at United."I'm in the form of my life and I'm having the season of my career so far, so it makes me mad sometimes to read some of the things which are supposed to be related to my future."I get angry, but I'm trying to accept it's a waste of energy to be furious because it is not worth it."Fo...

Recently in many newspapers they have been speculating that Real Madrid will offer millions for Ronaldo some even said that they would offer 120 million euros and £96million GBP.Personally i couldnt see United selling him for any amount, he has won us matches and why would we let the best player in the world go?"We would not sell him for 120million euros," Queiroz told Spanish newspaper Marca. "You can offer all the money in the world, but there is no amount that can buy him."What do you think? Was there ever any chance that United would let him leave?Man United Devils is a blog which is updated everyday.
