There have been a few rumours on the latest of Cristiano Ronaldo today, not much of a surprise though is it?Apparently, and I personally dont think it is true, Manchester United have accepted an offer from Real Madrid for Ronaldo. Apparently Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz was offered the Tottenham job earlier in the season.Queiroz has said: "I turned down a salary four times bigger than what United offered me because I felt I owed them." I don't think there would have been any chance of him going there anyway especially when there is a good chance or him managing United when Fergie retires.What a hard choice- Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur. Well we all know that Fergie will retire someday but today he has been a little bit more specific about when that will be. There is much speculation that if United win the Premier League and Champion's League then the boss (Fergie) will retire. Now i will start off by saying i dont think he will retire for a few more years, he has plenty left to give. Now we all know about Ronaldo's penalties miss but didnt realise how badly he took it. The Sun had an interview in it with another Portugese star- Luis Nani. Last month Benfica's coach quit and since then United assistant manager has been linked with the job. Reports are now saying that Benfica will offer Queiroz a four year deal during the summer.I would be pretty disappointed if Queiroz left United, he has played a big part in getting improtant players to the club- Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson. Apparently newspapers in Portugal are claiming that Portugese club Benfica are lining up United's assistant manager Carlos Queiroz to be their next manager.Diario de Noticias have said that a deal has been done and just needs to be sealed whilst A Bola have said that there have been informal talks between United and Benfica.Benfica parted company with their Spanish coach Jose Antonio Camacho on 9th March. I wouldnt want Queiroz to leave, he has been instrumental in bringing in portugese players and i think that he could be a good replacement for Ferguson when he retires, what do you think?
