My Cartoon Network Spill
2008-06-04 19:29:00 I know this will some nerves. I know it :-)But these are just my thoughts on this small subject.... that I find partly humorous... This is not meant to offend those who think differently or do differently.Check this photo out...That was taken last weekend while I was staying at a hotel in VA. In the lobby was this HUGE flat screen TV... and while waiting in the lobby w/ some family I browsed the TV channels for something to entertain the oh so tired Lubbers. The Hotel only had 1 cartoon channel... No Disney.. no Noggin.. no PBS. Just Cartoon Network.When I turned that TV on my son was a total zombi...He wouldnt take his eyes off it! The shows were so dumb... the one he was watching there was about people shooting these goo gun type things to knock pimples off people. I mean really dumb...And that night while in the hotel I took a shower and turned it on again... since I needed something to entertain him while I rinsed off the pool water... and when I got out I heard STUPID THIS, STU...

Naruto Movie to Premier on Cartoon Network
2007-08-26 05:06:00 The first Naruto movie, "Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow", will premier on Cartoon Network on September 8th at 7 PM ET. Naruto and the Squad 7 gang is on a mission to protect a popular actress from danger. However, she has an mysterious past... I have only seen 30 minutes of the movie - the subbed version. Not finishing the movie was not because it was a non-canon filler movie, it's the whole series altogether. After watching 61 episodes, I do not want to abandon this show. It's has a terrible fanbase, but the action and the characters are interesting, especially Kakashi!

The light-board signs, placed to advertise a show in its Adult Swim block of programming, caused major traffic snarls and other disruptions when residents mistook them for explosive devices.I'm sure the network thought their idea was genius, makes me feel sorry for 'em. Cartoon Network causes terror scare in Boston
2007-02-01 08:58:02 A guerrilla marketing campaign by the Cartoon Network for Aqua Teen Hunger Force caused a terrorism scare in Boston today. Strange LED devices were found all over the city prompting the bomb squad to detonate one, and put authorities on high alert. The devices (pictured above) depict Moominite characters from the show, and presumably were placed to promote the show and an upcoming feature film. The company said that they have been in place for two to three weeks in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, Portland, Austin, San Francisco and Philadelphia. Also, as a followup, BoingBoing notes that the Boston TV (WCVB-TV) station linked to above has photoshopped the original photo taking out the extended finger on the character image.
