4000 cats and dogs to be vaccinated
2007-05-12 15:16:00 Although there have been no reported case of rabies for almost a decade, the South Jakarta municipal administration will vaccinate 4,000 cats and dogs this year in an effort to prevent future outbreaks of the disease, an official said Friday. Head of the Municipal Fishery and Husbandry Agency's animal health and veterinary unit, Eko Henry Wijaksono, said the vaccinations were a precautionary measure.
