Paul McCartney recently received a gift from Lexus to thank him for promoting their green-line of cars. Unfortunately, the Lexus hybrid limousine was shipped via jet at a huge cost to the environment compared to if it had been shipped via ground. According to sources, McCartney was horrified that the method was chosen.Chaka Khan is standing strong with her son, Damien, who is currently in rehab to deal with the aftereffects of killing a friend in their home in 2004. It's solo Chaka, i.e. without Rufus, at her best and this album is especially notable for featuring on background vocals, a very young Whitney Houston (on "Clouds" and "Our Love Is In Danger") and an - at the time - up and coming Luther Vandross (on "Papillon (aka Hot Butterfly)" and "Our Love Is In Danger"). The club announced Wednesday that the reining Queen of Soul, Chaka Khan, will take Brown’s spot for his New Year’s Eve performance.
