Project Outline Anion exchange materials, in particular layered hydroxides, have found numerous applications in fields as diverse as catalysis, molecular recognition, medicine and gas adsorption. This project will involve the synthesis and characterisation of new hydroxide based anion exchange materials and subsequent investigation of their chemistry and properties.
