UK. Two postdoctoral positions (Clinician Scientist) are currently offered by The UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH) and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust (GOSH). These are 4 years positions enabling the appointees to achieve independent research team-leader status. The scheme provides full funding for 4 years plus up to £15,000 start-up costs. Ideally candidates should have around two years of full-time clinical training left and all candidates are expected to have secured or be eligible for an NTN in the national competition.Candidates should also have completed a PhD/DPhil (exceptionally, an MD qualification may be considered) prior to taking up an award. The positions will be supernumerary to existing SpR/ST rotations and offer a flexible programme of training integrated with protected research time. UK. Two fully funded Clinical Research Trainees positions are being offered by The UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH) and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust (GOSH). The positions will be lasting up to 12 months full time or 2 years part time. The scheme provides full funding for the period of the appointment plus up to £3,000 consumables. The starting salary will be on the Clinical Academic scale which ranges from £29,580 - £51,219 depending on skills and experience. London allowance of £2,572 is payable in addition. Appointees will become a member of one of our academic units. Detailed job specifications will be agreed with your allocated supervisors after appointment.
