If I was healthier and could pick only one race, it would have probably been the Portland marathon…. it’s one of my favorite of all time. Alas, my lung function has declined to the point where it would be really foolish, even for me, to attempt another full marathon…at least right now. So Ive decided instead, to play it smart (for a change) and do a shorter race much closer to home.
