I'm not ready to give a link yet, but I can hopefully do that soon. The new version of TFCMB will have a new look, and will make it easier to find the music you want.2. The fifth and final video in the Destroying Illegal CD's series is now on YouTube! This time, I used a BB gun and blasted a CD. The 5-year-old daughter of Grammy-winning Christian music star Steven Curtis Chapman was struck and killed Wednesday by a sport utility vehicle driven by her brother, authorities said.The girl, Maria Sue, was hit in the driveway of the family's home Wednesday afternoon by a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by her teenage brother, said Laura McPherson, a spokeswoman for the Tennessee Highway Patrol.The brother, whose name and exact age weren't available, apparently did not see the girl, McPherson said. No charges are expected."It looks like a tragic accident," she said.Several family members witnessed the accident, which happened in Williamson County just south of Nashville. In my experience, Internet Explorer is next then worthless, so I decided to get you to switch. :)The following is a few reasons why I decided to announce Mozilla Firefox as the official web browser of The Free Christian Music Blog, and why you should switch from Internet Explorer:(I did go ahead a put a link to Firefox in the sidebar to the right, so if you want to try it out you can.)Reason 1: It's safe. It's really amazing how the human mind and heart can be so greatly affected by organized noise (any sound period is considered noise - a disturbance of air molecules). On top of that, we have the amazing human body able to make this incredible organization of noise. The effects it has on the body in return are no less than amazing. It is a thing of beauty that can be appreciated by anyone. Being a little older and experienced, my organized noise preferences and taste has expanded in unbelievable ways. The limitations don't really start until opinions become involved with it. For this reason I like a lot of instrumentals and lyrics based on bible verses, stories, or parables. He can, and does, use any style or genre for His glory. It's very beautiful really. The distinguishing factor on what is "Christian" or not lies within the content of the lyrics. This is where most artists choose to express their opinions, which of course can be quite ungodly. But I have found some awesome Christ-based lyrics in modern music, even in rap and metal. (The latter in which I am partial to.) Though it sounds to me like most modern Christian artists try to mimic an already established genre or particular artist's style and just replace the lyrics to fit the "Christian" mold. I don't think in these cases we are using our God-given creativity and talents to glorify God. I believe God has created a symphony, so to speak, when it comes to our contributions to His story and we can all add a note. But we always need...
