2008-04-07 14:38:00 Wacom Cintiq 12WXWacom's new high-end tablet, the Cintiq 12WX is one interesting tablet as you will be able to use it as a dual monitor and a tablet simultaneously, adding a previously unthought of dimension to a peripheral which we take for granted. All you need to do is press an express button on the top left hand corner of the 12WX, and the tablet automatically springs to life, being activated by turns. The users will then be free to work on a PC or the tablet, depending on their preference. It tips the scales at 1.8kg, making it suitable to work on the 12.1' LCD panel wherever one goes. 2007-10-24 05:23:00 In november, Wacom will introduce a new screen tablet, the Cintiq 12WX. I really like the look of this, although it is a bit on the small side. I have the 21 inch model, which is pretty large and gives me a great amount of screen real estate for drawing and sketching. I imagine the 12 inch model will be ideal for using on your lap. 2007-10-23 04:08:00 I’m really hard at work on my book, so there’s not much time for anything else nowadays. I’m getting really into it, and I’m especially enjoying working on the Cintiq. One of the huge advantages I’ve found in recent weeks as I switched from using an Intuos tablet to the Cintiq, is how much more accurately I can draw now. I save a lot of time not messing around and drawing very precise lines instead. You can use the Cintiq as a tablet and as a display so that you can draw and write directly onto the screen. It is great for artists and anyone who would normally use a tablet. The screen can be tilted and moved in almost any direction and can also be taken off the stand to be used in your lap. It only costs $2,500 which is a great deal for something so useful.
