2007-10-29 06:11:00 slept without a blanket the other night. my ears, nose, throat and lungs are regretting it now. we're in atlanta and with the exception of coughs and sniffles, its been a pretty alright day. woke up and got a pumpkin spice soy drink... then walked like 6 blocks and found einstein bagels... got a bagel with everything..... then put hummus and cucumbers and tomatoes on it... after we soundchecked anthony and i painted my favorite pieces of the tour so far. ill post pics of em soon. if you haven't seen wes anderson's new film, the darjeeling limited you are missing out. it is quite beautiful. if it was on video it would definetly be my new sick movie. when i was younger my sick movie was disney's robin hood. my mom and dad would take turns calling out from work to take care of me and rewinding and playing. now its usually anthony or one of the other guys making me soup and tea and what not. so.... two questions.... I am lonely or drunk. or lost or angry. i need you to hear me as i yell at the top of my lungs. as i jettison my opinions through the air like lost hornets searching out a target. No matter how hurtful or jagged the words fly i just can't stop. I'm so awesome.What is it that bridges the gap between us. It seems a very defined line seperating the respectful from the dis. - but here we stand, divided by a prefix.I don't have time to write a book about this even though i'd love to, but here is the gist. Even from my first showgoing experience I can remember a few random people in the crowd. Hecklers if you will. Jesters. Jokers. Dicks. The bottom of the food chain. Each time I've seen this, it has been a perplexing experience to say the least. To hear people who have paid for tickets go to a show and shouting obscenities at the bands is some seriously backwoods shit. 2007-09-17 06:29:00 hello all. writing to you from glassgow, scotland. yes, we made it here in one piece. not without some slightly terrifying flight complications on the way over but PMA* overcame all. we got to the JFK airport right on time last sunday. we prepared for an 8:30pm departure after having to rearrange our pedal board packings to meet weight restrictions we went thru security and sat at the terminal. we were told that our flight was to be delayed because they were having technical issues that couldnt be fixed and were to be getting a different plane. so around 945ish they loaded us onto our flight to be. upon being seated the pilot informed us that this plane was going to need some tinkering with as well before we could take off? so we sat for an hour on the plane. we could hear them drilling and hammering on the new part or whatever it was. we were all slightly unnerved at this point. flying is scary enough without having to be present for repairs. ok so they say we are final...
