I test out differing levels of gain using my Suhr Classic with lower output ML single coils, my Ibanez AS-103 with Super 58 humbuckers and my Ibanez RG7321FM with stock Ibanez pickups. I also use Daniel's Sahana Boost pedal on a couple of examples to show the higher gain possibilities of this amp.The Sahana is a hand-wired EL34 head with two switchable gain stages for lots of on stage flexibility. It has undergone several reconstructions through the years including a major renovation in 1964 when reinforced concrete was introduced. There is a National Historical Institute (NHI) marker at the entrance that points out the very spot where Jose Rizal once stood to hear mass during his exile in Dapitan. There are many speculations but there is no satisfying explanation as to why he was not inside the church. All these have brought back good memories of Cebu and have made my day in one way or the other. Except for the Kwong Bee sausage, everything was familiar to my tastebuds. I honestly did not know what to do with the sausages until last week. I discovered that each tasted like a deliciously cured ham slice. The chopped sausages were then added to my otherwise humble sauteed vegetables which elevated the dishes to whole new levels.
