However, some stores have unexpectedly received the game early. Now, Sony will allow retailers to go ahead and release the game next week. "Well, due to some unexpected quickness at the factory, a vast majority of retailers have already received the game. With that, some retailers are choosing to release the game next week instead of waiting until the 30th, which we are all too happy to allow," said Greg Phillips, Line Producer at SCEA. It was only two weeks ago that Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction went gold and it was announced that the title had been delayed by a week. "The extra wait will be worth it," said Phillips.
