Sequoia Capital Invests In Cloud Telephony Firm Knowlarity
2012-01-19 13:13:00 Sequoia Capital, a Californian Venture Capital firm, has picked up a minority stake in Knowlarity, a Gurgaon-based cloud telephony start-up. Sequoia Capital will invest Rs. 35 crore in the firm. Also, Sequoia Capital MD Mohit Bhatnagar will join the board of Knowlarity. Knowlarity will use the funds to expand its businesses in emerging markets like Thailand and Brazil. (It currently operates in India and Indonesia). It will also ramp up its Research and Development facilities in India and sales and marketing in international market.
