No this is emotional.Saturday was my husband's going-away party for his upcoming deployment. Friends and families came to wish him farewell. Of course I looked at it more as "See ya later" then "Good-bye". I had a nice time. Our neighbors were here, my family came in from Michigan, Hubby's family was here (most happen to live in the area) and friends from work and small-group all dropped by.We had a Taco Bar with all of the fixings. My mom and I cooked up all the meat & rice the day before so the day of it was a matter of reheating it. We chopped, chopped, chopped the day of: tomatoes, onion, lettuce, peppers and more. We put cheese, sour cream and salsa in bowls. We had soft and hard shells available. It was a hit. He was afraid, but I selfishly wanted to go on it and I made him come with me in spite of his protests. On the ride he sat in the seat with his arms folded tightly across his little chest, angrily and defiantly, but moments after the ride began we hit a bump, which abruptly raised him high off his seat and scared that pants off him because he wasn't ready for it. Of course he immediately grabbed the restraining bar for the rest of the ride but when the ride was over he was some mad. Fuming at me was more accurate, but it had to go somewhere ultimately, because a kid old can't stay mad at his Dad forever.What he did was to unconsciously sublimated his anger away from me and directed it toward the roller-coaster instead. Unlike HD-DVD and Blu-Ray, which can only store a maximum of 30 GB and 50 GB, respectively, the new TeraDisc will be able to sport a whopping TERABYTE of data.
