Someone with too much time on their hands at the Swiss publication Motorsport Aktuell has taken a whole raft of existing speculation and joined the dots to make a pretty pattern that is supposed to kick in after the Canadian Grand Prix. In it, Sebastian Vettel would move to Red Bull and further his development as a driver by taking Coulthard’s seat. Nelson Piquet Jr would go to Toro Rosso instead of Vettel, to allow him to get his head straight in a lower-pressure environment. And Coulthard would meekly replace Piquet at Renault, to wind down his career as Fernando Alonso’s rear gunner.
