2008-06-08 03:40:00 Yesterday, the website of Amazon.com was shut down for at least two hours.Here is the info that Amazon stated about the down website."As a part of this resolution, some customers may experience error messages that indicate that their access to the Amazon Web site has been blocked for various reasons. These reasons may not be directly related to the customer's account. Access to the Web site will return when this technical issue is resolved."This brings back the statement a few weeks ago from AT&T stating that the internet is going to go dark very soon. The second of the major outages the last weeks. I do this with my photos once a month so not only do I have the prints for a photo album, but just in case my computer decides to crash and burn, I don't lose my pictures like I did last July when I not only got the dreaded blue screen of death, but worse, I got the red screen of death. Didn't even know there was one did ya!? Another option to look into is IBackup - Online Storage Drive which is the coolest thing ever. It's an online backup but it's also a drive on your computer so you 'drag and drop' all your Microsoft Outlook files, documents, financial files and other office files. At under $10 a month for up to 5GB and plans up to 300 GB for those with a business or just way too many files in their lives, LOL, it's worth looking into.
