'The estimate up to now is 30 trillion rupiah (S$4.46 billion) in losses, but it could increase as we investigate further,' Indonesian national police spokesman Abubakar Nataprawira said. Police are searching for Malaysian national Simon Woon, who is suspected of leading a ring here that produced counterfeit cards using bank customers' identities. A case has been registered with the Navrangpura police station in this matter. Criminals used the credit card to conduct as much as 10 online transactions and purchased airline tickets worth Rs. 84,986. One Gururaj Kulkarni, a resident of Suvidhi Towers, Jivraj Park had filed a complaint with the police that his credit card was compromised. He didn't name a person in his complaint and said that he had never used his credit card for online transactions. Police investigations revealed that 23 tickets of Air Deccan were booked from Ahmedabad to Bangalore and from Bangalore to other destinations of South India.
