There's this big road that's full of restaurants, coffee shops, clothing stores, and other shopping attractions.Then, something caught my eye. I saw a wooden sign propped up on the sidewalk. On the wooden sign, there were the words "Crepes" and "Bubble tea", along with a solid painted blue arrow. The word "Crepes" totally stole my attention since I love crepes. Our friends suggested the place. They live in Pasadena and had the word about currently cool little hangouts. The restaurant's Colorado Boulevard location meant that we would not be able to park next to the establishment. Luckily there are plenty of public parking garages in the area. This will set you back around seven dollars. Streets of Old Town Pasadena were packed as they often are on weekend evenings. Young people, old people, in between people, everyone enjoying the urban summer experience. The Crepevine Bistro is located in the alley at Mills Place. No fancy fruit to make this picture more appetizing :) butwe enjoyed it.I was bored and hungry and I thought of crepes....I had most of the basic ingredients - flour, eggs, milk. What would we do without these 3 kitchen staples! Combined, they seem to make most of my favorite dishes. And I had a willing dishwasher in the form of David.The missing and the most essential ingredient to good crepes was ice-cream and we didn't have any. So we made do with honey. Maple syrup would have been so much better but I 'm not complaining - my hunger pangs were abated.

Fortunately for all Kostas, a friendly, hard-working man with exquisite crepe-making skills, keeps his shop Picasso di Crepa (Taki Street 19 in Psiri, +30-210-324-7686) open until around 7 a.m. on Sundays through Thursdays and until about 11 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Oh the crepes, the crepes. They are the perfect post-club delight. Our current favorite is a savory crepe stuffed with cheese, tomatoes, and olives. Savory crepes cost between €4 and €6.50 depending on the filling, and judging by the ones we’ve tried so far they are worth every cent. Sweet crepes can be yours for between €3 and €5.50. Expect company at Picasso di Crepa no matter what time you find yourself there—Kosta’s divine crepes are no secret to locals.
