ICC CEO Malcolm Speed said CA needs to take notice of the criticism being directed at its team by the public, former players and commentators. "The team is being criticised, members of the team are being criticised and they need to to be aware of that -- they need to respond to that," Speed was quoted saying in the 'Herald Sun'. "All national teams should play cricket in the right spirit. We need to be clear what that means," he said. 2007-12-23 22:01:00 One of my sporting passions is cricket and I miss watching live cricket matches here in the states. Australia has been the dominant team for the last 15 yrs - and it has been great to be a fan during that time. They do have a slight arrogance about them, so most non-Australia fans love to see them get beat (which rarely happens!). India, the biggest cricket loving nation, is touring Australia and were the last team to really challenge Australia (in Australia) during a test series. Their first test match is starting on boxing day (December 26th) and is being keenly anticipated. The one day series, which also includes Sri Lanka, should also be a cracker.
