After watching a very different Jackie Chan in "New Police Story" with Naina, we were wondering what to do; and we came upon the idea of doing something "different". Amulya to the rescue. She has always patiently made sure that I don't need a GPS unit in Chennai. She's off to the Hague though, so, I don't know about the near future.. ;) She gave precise instructions to reach IIT from Naina's place, and I knew my way from there.After a nice and easy ride, we finally came to the crocodile bank...The Bay of Bengal runs parallel to the East Coast Road, and we see awesome coastlines en route to the Crocodile Bank, here's a video I took... The beach is incredibly clean with the biggest waves I have seen, outside Calangute I think. Check it out!

You may have hoped that the Crocs craze was dying a slow death (how much longer can people think plastic shoes are stylish, after all?) but this week our sister site, Shiny Shiny, brings us tidings of the Crocs mobile phone case: where will this madness end? As you can see from the image, the case is basically a Croc for your phone. It comes complete with "heel strap", to keep the phone safe, and can even be accessorised with 'Jibbitz' charms, just like the real thing. There's also a panel at the back which you can use to store your credit cards and important documents, showing that, just like the shoes, the Croc phone case is useful, but not remotely stylish. It'll be available soon in Europe only, and will cost Ł6.95.

My mother in law bought Crocs for our children last summer, and they used them nearly every day because they love them so much. The only thing we have noticed with the kids is that they seem to stumble a bit more than if they didn't have them on.
