Showcased here is the work of four cross-stitch professionals, all 37 of their projects executed in blue and white. In spite of the enforced two-color scheme, individual idiosyncrasies are apparent in choice of subject matter, use of style and mannerisms, and finishing touches. Biographies of the four

The Bookshelf cross-stitch kit
2007-12-15 00:43:00 Via the Spanish blog Horas Buenas we have come across yet another Brontë-related cross-stitch kit. This one comes from Little House Needleworks and is called The Bookshelf. As can be seen in the picture it features other classic writers/poets and a few key literary works.* The Bookshelf *Reading is one leisure activity I wish I had more time for. The Bookshelf pays tribute to female authors of the 19th and 20th centuries and was made with the book lover in mind. The design was stitched on 28 count Café Mocha linen from Zweigart with DMC floss. The frame is from Eastside Mouldings. As you will remember, this is not the first time cross-stitch designs have been featured on BrontëBlog. Among others, we've had the Brontë samplers and the Parsonage. As Christmas is approaching fast, this might turn out to be a great present for a crafty Brontëite's library wall.Categories: Brontëana

That's One Thousand Three Hundred! Yes, I blocked my own IP so no it's not me visiting all the time. Smartasses!I have no clue why most of you were here (because I'm really not all that funny. Me loves me some international lurves! ;) Thank you to everyone who reads this blog for whatever reason.By the way, have you checked out that pic of Dwayne Johnson in my last post? I have, every single time I get on the net!! Mama like muy mucho!
