Flashy Chestnut Arab, Warmblood mare
2008-06-07 04:47:00 Miranda is a flashy 15.1 hh Arabian/Warmblood mare with a flaxen mane and tail. Email me more pictures or a video clip of her. She has had some professional dressage training and goes on the bit and does lovely lateral work. She also has been started over low fences. She is also excellent on trail rides. Miranda is an excellent broodmare and has had 2 foals previously. She is currently open, but we could sell her with a breeding to our dark bay TB stallion. Miranda has been used for lessons with Intermediate level riders. She is being sold b/c we are cutting back our lesson program. She has done well in lessons, but I believe she would do best with a regular rider who could show her so that she could reach her full potential. Miranda is also quick and agile, so I believe she has good potential as a gymkhanna horse. The picture is of Miranda as a foal. I hope to get some more recent pictures of Miranda posted eventually.

2008-06-05 05:31:00 Porky is one of 24 horses saved over Mothers Day weekend from Sugarcreek Livestock auction by our rescue and Happy Trails Farm. Porky is a quiet, laid back horse in excellent condition. There are no soundness issues that we are aware of, broke to drive and will soon be put under saddle. Good with his feet, UTD on worming/vaccinations and will see the farrier and equine dentist before being placed. He will be removed from quarantine on June 9th and will be ready for a new home. We expect he will make an excellent trail horse as he isnt spooky. Need a hubby horse or one for yourself? Check out Porky...hes an easy keeper which is great with the cost of feed these days! She has since been schooled in eventing and larger jumps and is just soaking it up! She easily free jumps over 5' with room and scope. Tight knees, round back. GORGEOUS legs, and strong, sound feet. Shown year round without shoes, except when I hack out in the spring for traction. Easy flying lead change. She is a really nice mare, I have just been forced to reduce my herd size this year due to my recent knee surgery. :( She was sold as a unbroken 4 year old for 15,000! Special consideration to a show home. Stands quietly for trimming, clipping, etc. UTD on all shots and wormings. I just bought two more cameras and a gob of film to run through them. I?m fairly new to film, but I?m already starting to set a few personal preferences. I?ve shot two rolls of color film: one roll of Ektachrome cross processed and one roll of Velvia not cross processed. I should?ve cross processed the Velvia too. Don?t get me wrong, standard color film photos have their place and I?m not knocking them.
