What I’m griping about now is the fact that Merriam-Webster, the pre-eminent source for defining proper English vernacular has included the word “crunk” in their 2007 edition!!!! “Crunk” will be defined as “a style of Southern Rap” in Merriam Websters 2007 edition which, to the best of my knowledge, is an incorrect definition at that! If one takes a stroll over to the Urban Dictionary (which is where a word like CRUNK belongs - i mean, seriously…Merriam-Webste-rs?), he/she finds that “Crunk” is defined as “a mixture of the words Crazy and Drunk” - approved by 5097 urban dictionaryites.
