Demystify the DSR - Three Golden Rules of Customer Relations on eBay
2009-06-17 13:34:00 Once upon a time in an internet not far away eBay was a happy land where sellers and buyers traded items and ratings happily and sellers had just as much ability to let the world know about a bad buyer as buyers had to flag a poor seller. Unfortunately those days have been and gone. Giving feedback is now a one-way street for buyers only and the feedback that customers give accounts for more than ever. The reputation of sellers don't only depend on it but the amount in fees they pay as well, thanks to the new DSR system. In that sense it doesn't only make good business sense to be a good seller on eBay it is a matter of life and death.Guide' Your Customers Through The Sales ProcessWhile every Tom Dick and Harry can sell low volumes sporadically on eBay it takes someone special to sell large volumes consistently and increase their customer base. To do that a seller needs to be ready to 'guide' the customer through the sales process. A process that starts as soon as the seller sta...

Managing Those Important Customer Relationships
2007-07-16 16:51:00 It's always an interesting conundrum when determining how to most effectively manage your customer relationships. In a recent article by Bob Sullivan of InfoGrow, he discusses how companies are determining that marketing should be the keepers of customer data and lead management systems and strategies. It just makes good business sense. In working with our clients, we've heard some horror stories from both sales and marketing on lead management. The funny thing is that it takes a lot of work from both parties to bring on new customers. It behooves everyone to come up with the most efficient system that assists everyone in doing a better job of managing those important customer relationships. Here's what we've experienced: Sales thinks that marketing doesn't always provide the bests leads, and in response, they work only those leads that they determine are "hot," leaving others to get lost in a proverbial black hole. Marketing works hard to feed the very best prospects to sa...

Customer Relationship Software, Sponsored by Payperpost
2007-05-22 11:49:00 Sponsored by Payperpost:AIMpromote crm is an on demand lead management program. They claim that they are cheaper than other services because they have no setup fees. They have a three tier pricing system ranging from $33 for the basic to $65 the most expensive with the most options. Their site offers a forum and support. They will even give you a 14 day free trial if you're interested. Personally I have never used a lead management program and believe that if you have an excellent product you won't need to pay for "leads". If you have an excellent product or service your business will grow through word of mouth. Google never payed a dime for advertising but they are one of the most talked about companies because they make excellent products. The whole idea of leads reminds me of GlenGary GlenRoss. If you've never seen it check out the famous Always Be Closing speech given by Alec Baldwin.Add your two cents

Delivering For Your Clients
2007-05-03 22:36:00 My younger brother, Alex, believes that the most time-consuming and labour intensive parts of any job can and should be automated in some way.
