While the post was focused on the changes and how it could affect the privacy of the individual, there are several positive impacts to the Act as well. The IT Act of 2000, was modified in December 2008 and has come into force on October 27. A lot of crimes now come under the ambit of the IT Act. The bottom-line was still in red and came in at Rs. 0.35 Crores compared to Rs 1.82 Crores in June quarter. The standalone revenues although was down 40.74% to Rs 10.56 Crores as compared to September ‘08 quarter. The consolidated revenue for half year was 48 Crores and recorded net loss of 2.8 Crores.
