Yes, it's Michel Gondry's creation for Daft Punk's Around the World single, released in 1997 from their album Homework. Not only is this a classic track, but it's an absolutely classic video and one which immediately mesmerised young me way back when on late night television (remember when they used to put decent stuff on for insomniacs?) I had such high hopes for Gondry until he made Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but nevermind, that really is a whole other show...I can't really put my finger on why I love this vid so much, maybe it's the Connect 4-style background, or just the multi-costumed, kinetic fun, but I surely do love it more than any other and I hope you love it too.
