2008-01-08 09:15:00 Last night in spite of the continued WGA Strike, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report returned to the air. While it was just a little obvious the shows were missing their writers, it is still good to see Jon and Stephen back on television. Both hosts chose to show their solidarity to the cause, especially Stephen. Stephen pronounced the name of the show with a "t" as in taco and not as in parfait and "The Word" segment came up empty without the writers. The shows aren't near the quality they would be with their full roster of writers and correspondents but decent shows are better than no shows in my book.Here's hoping the strike ends already.
