Remi and I were in the woods again this morning, this time down near the Danube, where it forms a small beach. She hasn't like it before because of the noisy tugboats and cargo ships that creak through there. Today she was delighted. Lots of frolicky running, delight at broken sticks, heightened delight when I broke them in front of her, investigation into areas that only small dogs can fit.

Went for a walk this morning along the opposite side of the Danube with a neighbor. We drove over into Stopfenreuth, only about 3 miles from Hainburg, but there is a small, sandy beach I wanted to introduce Remi to. Saw this old sign announcing the ferry boat and its costs.
