According to several reports Splash actress Daryl Hannah was hauled away in cuffs and arrested after protesting an oil pipeline at the White House. Get all the details here. Fifty-year old actress Daryl Hannah was arrested today at the White House, where she reportedly took part in a sit-in at the famous address of Pennsylvania Avenue. Hannah was there to take part in a protest against a pipeline expansion project that would “significantly increase the amount of oil the United States imports from Canada’s controversial Alberta oil sands,” per CNN. More than a hundred people showed up in attendance to object the plan.
