Make Money Online with RSS Data Transfer
2007-12-22 05:32:00 by: Peter Tarrida del MarmolRSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich SiteSummary. It also has been referred to as a "pull" technology rather than a "push" technology. And, in fact, this feature is what makes RSS so popular in terms of today's Internet usage. It's probably hard to argue that anyone who uses the Internet today hasn't heard of spam. If they have an email inbox it is probably full of it.Spam, for the uninitiated, is the receipt of unwanted emails from people whom you did not request to receive information. Spam represents the "push" technology. That is, people "push" their email message at your inbox, whether you have asked to receive the email or not.And that aspect of "push" technology is what many have come to believe is the death of email. It's arguable that email will still be around for quite a long time, even though there are still people who continue the illegal spam process. In fact, companies are making millions now just providing everyday users as ...

Data Transfer Made Easy By Pen Drive
2007-11-03 10:02:00 Pen drive is the ideal for people who are looking for bigger space to store their data and want an easy-to-operate storage space. Transferring large quantity of data from one computer to the other has always been a problem, mainly due to lack of suitable data storing device. Storage mediums like CD, floppy and e-mails have always failed us in urgent times because of their shortcomings like small storage and large time-consumption for data transfer. Pen drive is the best solution to end this problem. These USB flash drives are integrated with a USB interface. They are small, removable, lightweight and rewritable. Their main advantages over other storage devices are that they are faster, more compact, can hold more data and are much more reliable thanks to their durable designs and lack of moving parts. It is the revolution of pen drives that more and more computers are being made without the floppy drive while the USB port has to be present on almost every mainstream computer and la...

The future WiMax: Data transfer at 1 gigabits per second
2007-02-22 05:51:01 The WiFi and WiMax have usually seen as rivals — and they could be. While the next generation of WiFi standard, called the 802.11n, isn’t yet… a standard, the IEEE is already working on the future of WiMax. Dubbed 802.16m, the new standard would be able to transfer data up to 1 Gbit/s while maintaining backwards compatibility with existing WiMax radios and 4G radio acccess technology, reports Unstrung (via dailywireless). The transfer rate will then be twice faster than the 802.11n WiFi standard, and once again verifies the Moore’s law. The IEEE task group hopes to complete the new spec by the end of 2009. A bit late, said vendors present at the announcement during the 3GSM show in Barcelona (in picture). They expressed skepticism about the speed the work can be completed and the chances of maintaining backwards compatibility with mobile 802.16 technology.

2007-02-09 13:39:00 Bandwidth is amount of data transfer that which you're allowed to have for a webhosting package on internet. Let’s say you have a web site that size is 48KB, now each time a user opens your site and goes to that page She or he downloads 52 KB of information and detail on to their computer. Size of web Page: 52 KB Number of users who viewed the web page: 100 Total amount of data transferred: 52KB x 100 = 5,200 KB Bandwidth is the term that is used to denote the amount of data that has been transferred from your web space. The amount of bandwidth that you require while choosing a webhost depends on both factors: - The size of your site- The popularity of your site If your website is not huge and you don't have any audio or video downloads and it isn't very popular internet expoler not a lot of people visi...
