All right, it is time for The Revolution?s Weekly Awards. Here are the nominees for The Che for the best read of the week:Booster Gold #5Green Lantern #25X-Factor #26The Winner: Green Lantern #25.Yeah, like there was ever any doubt about which issue was going to win The Che this week. There were some nice reads this week. X-Factor #26 kept the ball rolling on the Messiah Complex story arc. Marvel should be proud of the excellent effort that the writers on the X-titles have cranked out during the Messiah Complex story arc. Messiah Complex is one of the best big events to come out of the House of Ideas in a long time. It just has the unfortunate timing of coming out during the end of the best big event from Marvel and DC in the Sinestro War.Booster Gold #5 was another wonderfully done issue. And if it weren?t for the white hot Sinestro War, this title could have certainly nabbed its first Che. But, the fact is that Green Lantern #25 was the beast of the week. This issue by far and awa...

Babe scores some fancy corporate toilet paper for herself.Corporate TP is the most enduring and endearing. Snag a roll from work and test it at home. It lasts twice as long. I'd like to know where to buy this stuff. Toilet paper should not be soft and squeezable, of puffy air and no longevity ? it ought to be a solid roll of consumer product!PS - Just went here for a fantabulous surprise.

December 12 - Skype Podcasts
2006-12-14 03:59:01
I must admit that last time I attempted to record a conversation with somebody over Skype, we had a handful of problems. Loss of connections, irritating, unexplained clicking sounds, and a whole host of other annoying nigglies which we didn't experience when not on 'Record Mode'. However, it did eventually work.Bob and Sam had an entirely different situation though. At least the recording was audible! Even after that, I trawled through it for an hour, writing a transcript. Only if I'd had Dragon Naturally Speaking 9 then. Hopefully it will arrive by Christmas. I won it at TheBlogJoint.com - A site I blog for. VLAD ROCKS! And now that he's a 9rules member, well... source1915 : Frank Sinatra bornSinger and actor Frank Sinatra is born in Hoboken, New Jersey. The son of an Italian fireman, Sinatra formed a singing quartet in his teens. The group won a popular radio talent show in 1935 and began touring small nightclubs. In 1940, Sinatra joined the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and began topping the charts.Sinatra soon became a popular screen actor, but after his vocal chords suffered damage in 1952 his career took a drastic downturn. His talent agency dropped him, and he had to plead for roles. For the paltry sum of $8,000, he agreed to play a supporting role in From Here to Eternity (1953)-for which he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He went on to receive an Oscar nomination for The Man with the Golden Arm (1955), for his portrayal of a drug addict. His career gained steam as he aged--his voice recovered and his songs became more popular than ever. His first marriage, to Nancy Barbato, produced three children, Nancy, Christina, and Fra...
