But hopefully the next year will be a little less hectic and more relaxed.Anyway me and my Mrs. were in England last week to visit a good friend of ours who was staying at his parent's house in Devon around X-mas. 2008-12-29 13:50:00 What I think:After yet another successful gig at Trappa Upp in Höganäs (more on that later), we in the blues/rock cover band CSI: Helsingborg decided to have a Pissed Rehearsal tonight.A Pissed Rehearsal is a rehearsal to which we bring loads of beer, and get drunk while playing. The logic behind this is that we will always have a good few beers before (and during) performing live, so we might as well get used to playing drunk. Having said this, I always drink beer at rehearsals anyway. But the others don't usually drink much. 2008-12-21 01:24:00 This is some of  what hit us yesterday and we have  got another storm due in Sunday.  Hamlin (Where this pic was taken) has a nice state park.  I’ve hiked and skied it and Bit may have camped there. Hat tip:  13WHAM; article, picture. Addendum:(Bit) I sure have camped there… several times, over the years. IN fact, it was the place we took our big rig too, on the first trip out of the barn with it, years ago. What you see in the pic is pretty well typical of the whole area, yesterday. Myself, I came up Lake Road from the east side, across Irondiquoit Bay and through Durand Eastman park, all of it right along the lake shore… which is pretty much the situation in the pic you see here. Now the new storm they’re talking about features 50mph winds, so all this snow will be blowing around. Let’s see.. up to our pipiks in snow, and being taxed to death. What’s not to love? 2008-12-16 15:35:00 What I think:We found out last Friday that the good people at the Trappa Upp bar/music venue in the small town of Höganäs enjoyed our show so much that they want us to play again this coming Friday. Short notice, but yay.I went up there a couple of nights ago with our bass player, CSI: Per, to drop off some posters for the owner (at the pizza place; he owns both places). It's not the best resolution here, but this is what the latest poster looks like: I thought that this would be a great opportunity to make use of some of our new crime scene tape, so we set about "cordoning off" random things in the central area of Höganäs.We started off at the bike stand shelter (yes, there's a shelter for the bicycles) right next to the town hall, where we put tape on the sides...Then we did a few bits of some random fences around there, as well as some bins.
