Democrat Lies About ?Rights?
2008-07-18 13:50:00
-By Warner Todd Huston It’s amazing to see how a Democrat so warps the word “right” these days. Last week California Democrat Rep. Brad Sherman was only the latest Democrat to take the word “right” and misuse it for his disgusting, partisan ends when he decided that it was a “right” to unionize, but NOT a ...
Democrat Dick Durbin Says Troops Actions Akin To Nazis!

This man is a disgrace! This video is from July of 2005.Here is Durbins latest comments on the troops:"There will be a lot of talk about patriotism over this Fourth of July weekend and many senators will rightfully praise our military, he added. But true patriotism means honoring the men and women in uniform who defend our freedoms -- not just with words and flag lapel pins, but with actions befitting their great sacrifices. Thanks toGateway Pundit for this.
How A Real Democrat Stands Up On FISA
2008-06-22 09:04:00
I received the following correspondence from NY State U.S. House Rep John Hall last Friday evening...Dear Friends,Today the House of Representatives voted on H.R. 6304, the FISA Amendments Act of 2008.I have consistently supported modernizing the existing FISA law to give our intelligence community the tools it needs to identify and defeat terrorists in today's high-tech world, while at the same time preserving the freedoms and rights that define America. Three times I voted to pass legislation that would strengthen and modernize FISA and reaffirm the rule of law. Although today's bill made some improvements over previous attempts to update FISA, H.R. 6304 regrettably fell short of achieving that critical balance. The rule of law lies at the core of America's founding principles, and the language in this bill was too weak to ensure that any breach of our laws that may have occurred under the Bush Administration's warrantless wiretapping program will be fully addressed. It is wro...

CNN's Paul Begala - Republican Or Democrat?
2008-06-20 16:39:00
I just saw CNN Contributor and former Clinton Aide Paul Begala on "The Situation Room" talking "in defense" of Barack Obama on Campaign Finance and on NAFTA against a Republican Strategist who I will not name because it doesn't matter.Begala sounded like he was half in support of Obama and half sympathetic to John McCain. Meanwhile the Republican Strategist was consistently on the attack against Obama. Paul did not effectively hit back. What's up? Is Paul still smarting from Clinton's loss?
The truth: Democrat anti-Energy policy hurts the poor
2008-06-09 20:40:00
Tiger Hawk answers a question I quoted VDH as asking earlier today, when he said: And why are Republicans, who voted in overwhelming numbers for off-shore drilling, ANWR, nuclear, shale, tar sands, liquid coal, etc—and were opposed by Democrats on grounds of wanting to enrich energy companies—not appealing to the country to develop domestic supplies on the basis of fairness (the poor have the least access to energy efficient homes and hybrid, fuel efficient new cars), the environment (the US can extract oil, in a fungible market, far more cleanly than Russia or the Middle East), and national security (most of OPEC, Russia, Venezuela are belligerents and becoming more dangerous the more trillions of dollars the West, China, and Japan transfer to them in their hard-won national wealth)? It is a ready-made issue for them, and with skill can appeal to Americans of every persuasion who are starting to snicker when Obama soars in pie-in-the-sky sermons about wind, solar, and millions...

OK, it’s been a long and stressful week, so I needed a post to cheer me up - and I just heard Rascal Flatt’s song “Every Day” on the radio. Every time I hear the beginning of that song, it reminds me of Hillary Clinton, so, I’mdeciding to make a post about it. Supposedly, Clinton ...
President Clinton's Democrat Puppies
2008-06-06 09:45:00
President Clinton was out jogging one day, when he encountered a man with some puppies. Clinton asked the man what kind of puppies they were, and the man responded, "They're Democrat puppies, Mr. President."Clinton thought that was so great that the next day he brought the first lady to see these puppies for herself. He asked the man to tell Hillary what kind of puppies they were, and the man responded, "They're Republican puppies."The president looked puzzled and said, "Yesterday, you told me they were Democrat puppies."The man smiled and said, "Yesterday, they were. But today, they have their eyes open!"

2008-06-04 13:18:00
Well it looks like Barack Obama will be the democrat candidate. I like both Hillary Clinton and him very much. Now if they would come together on the same ticket it would be so great. Either way they both have earned my respect and both made history. Made it possible for future generations about being president. I have watched this since the beginning. This is the election that I have learned the most from this process. It is one the most exciting presidential races in my lifetime so far. I will never forget this election that is for sure because of it being so historic.

Barack Obama: Misspeaks From the Democrat?s Perpetual Gaffe Machine

The real Democrat party
2008-05-21 14:29:00
Bit says: This was sent to me via mail this monring, and I’ve echoed out in total: The Democrats: Democrats fought to expand slavery while Republicans fought to end it. Democrats passed those discriminatory Black Codes and Jim Crow laws. Democrats supported and passed the Missouri Compromise to protect slavery. Democrats supported and passed the Kansas Nebraska Act to expand slavery. Democrats supported and backed the Dred Scott Decision. Democrats opposed educating blacks and murdered our teachers. Democrats fought against anti-lynching laws. Democrat Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia, is well known for having been a “Kleagle” in the Ku Klux Klan. Democrat Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia, personally filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964 for 14 straight hours to keep it from passage. Democrats passed the Repeal Act of 1894 that overturned civil right laws enacted by Republicans. Democrats declared that they would rather vote for a “yellow dog” than vo...

The Democrat primary; A contest between Racism and Sexism
2008-05-20 14:11:00
I’ve been telling you for months, now, that the Democrat primary was a contest between racism and sexism. Well, the racists are winning, and the sexists are pissed… Last week’s endorsement of Obama by the abortion rights group NARAL has prompted a flurry of criticism by feminists upset with the organization for turning its back on Hillary Clinton. Particularly upset are leaders of the state chapters who were not consulted before the national board’s announcement. New York NARAL chapter head Kelli Conlin tells The Politico newspaper the move created a firestorm, mystifying everyone — and prompting concerns about alienating NARAL’s donor base. At one point there were more than 3,000 comments on NARAL’s Web site — most negative. Even Obama supporters profess unhappiness with the endorsement. Conlin says, “The supporters of Obama that I know on our board and in our membership thought it was ill-timed and ill-advised and really antithetical ...

New Mexico Green blamed for Democrat loss to run again
2008-05-19 14:07:00
According to an article at the Farmington Daily Times, the Democrats are not worried about Carol Miller, who pulled 17% a few years ago in a race for the same seat. Seems rather foolish to "not worry" about Miller, especially since the issues have not changed, and many who believe in the Green Party's values just will not vote for a Democrat just to keep out a Republican. If Democrats of any sort want Green votes, they must earn them. Democratic leadership thinks we are willing to vote for them without their making any changes or concessions.Personally, while I am sure it's not the focus of her campaign, but if Miller helps send another Republican to the house, the democrats will have no one to blame but themselves.
