Xander Demos: Guitarcadia new CD announced
2011-11-01 23:07:00 Metal guitar master, Xander Demos has released the track listing for his upcoming full-length CD, "Guitarcadia." The album, which is scheduled for December release, is being mixed by CJ Snare of popular rock/metal band, Firehouse. The track listing reads: 1. Chase The Sun 2. Nothing Major 3. Right Angles 4. Guitarcadia 5. Lady In Red 6. White Knuckle Driving 7. Up From The Skies 8. Woodshed Sonata 9. Boys of Summer 10. Under a Darkened Sky "Guitarcadia" is the full-length follow-up to Xander's critically acclaimed EP, "Road To Guitarcadia," and it includes Snare re-mixes of several tracks from "RTG." Snare's mix of "Right Angles" was already released as a single this past July, receiving worldwide airplay. However, his shoulder is not completely healed and he's have trouble with arm articulation, so I know this guitar playing is looking good, but this really is a "Grace Under Pressure" scenario. Magnus Olsson: A short presentation/demo of Ibanez RG Standard 350MZ and 350DXZ. This is only a few of the way these guitars can sound. Don't see this video as a complete sound clip for how the guitars can sound, just see it as some examples of who it can be used and sound. Another amp, other hands, even another day and it would sound totally different. You can even play slow on them... You will never really know until you try one yourself. I screwed the pickup into my cheap ass Yamaha Pacifica (really nice guitar) as it's going nowhere near the Suhr! . The tracking is immense if you get the technique right. This is mostly legato stuff so even more impressive really and it's tracking my dynamics and nuances really cleanly for the most part. Just a very quick vid - I'm gonna do a proper one when I get it hooked up to Omnisphere and Trilian! Can't wait. Sorry for the rubbish video quality. Let me know what you think.
