I was walking down the sidewalk earlier, and, I noticed some crows flying around, squawking loudly. Another lady noticed them, too, and, she spent a lot of time staring at them intently. I was walking toward her, and, we acknowledged each other and she offers, "I think they're making babies." Being the polite Southerner (and kray-zee magnet) that I am, I responded with something insightful such as, "They sure are loud, huh?" because I was not about to discuss the mating habit of crows with her. She then replied, " I saw two geese this morning." I was waiting for the follow-up along the lines of, "They were doing the 'Let's Make a Gosling' Mambo'", and plotting my escape, when she simply stated, "They were flying east", and, she walked away. Good to know.
