First of all I love this phone in all its 3.5g Glory. Everything I didn't like about my Dash has been improved upon (almost). I am going to run down a list of what I really like and then follow it up with its weaknesses. 2007-09-13 15:57:00 I just unboxed my brand new Dopod HTC aka HTC Cavalier S630 and after a few tweaks my demo was FLYING on HSDPA ATT's Network. I did a quick post on the Dash's big brother a while back and it still isn't released in the US of A. Yup this baby came right from China right down to the Chinese interface. But thanks HTC for including English in your ROM!I found my old Cingular .cab file for my settings which worked instantly -DOPE! Right then I noticed My old E or G was replaced with a 3G... Then I enabled HSDPA and BOOM it turned into a H! We have achieved 3.5G boyz! And all I can say is that this coupled with the 400mhz processor... Is that I love it. What a huge jump. Almost as big as when I went from my 300 baud modem to my 2400 baud modem. Ahh Good times Good Times. Stay tuned for a full review. This is the near future of mobile devices... Dopod also said that the D600 has been especially designed to cater to the discerning Indian market. From the introduction: We have made detailed, quantitative observations of Dictyostelium cells chemotaxing in shallow gradients, which contradict current models in several ways (see Supplementary Information, Fig. S1): first, new pseudopods are made in spatially restricted sites by splitting of the leading edge; second, the timing and direction of these new pseudopods are random, so they cannot correct the cell’s direction; and third, the survival and retraction of pseudopods are spatially controlled, suggesting an alternative mechanism of chemotaxis. 2007-01-28 17:07:03 For those of you who cringe over the brand name Dopod,you should thik again,when you find out who they really are.Dopod is actually owned by Taiwanese gaint HTC the major powerhouse when it comes to manufacturing Pocket PCs and smartphones.What I really interested in was the total functionality 959.It still pretty slim with an absolutely gorgeous 240 x 320pixel screen..Under the hood you will find a respectable Samsung 300MHz ARM processor with 64 MB RAM and 128MB ROM,along with a 1.3 megapixel camera and Bluethooth functionality.Sadly it was missing WiFi features.The user will have no option except to realy solely on the 3G networks to browse the internet or download e -mail,which does ultimately put adent in the wallet.,But the camera 1.3 megapixels,it still pretty good,picture a shrap,crisp and clear.The battery was also impressive as it can easy last for 2 days on normal usage;though it will drop if it run on 3G networks.In conclusions the Dopod 959 really does grow on you,if y... |
