2008-06-09 18:50:00 I know I'm a total dork for thinking about this already, but after seeing Gabby in her adorable Elmo bathing suit this weekend it made me start wondering what kind of costume she will wear in the fall. I can't help myself. I wish that it was warmer here in Michigan at that time of the year so we could have more options for costumes. Her bathing suit has a little cover up skirt to go over it and I thought she kind of looked like a hula girl - which would be a cute costume if we didn't live in Michigan. I would really like to do a group theme this year with the whole family if we can find good couples costumes. I would love to do Nightmare Before Christmas and include the whole family. It would be a blast.

The ending felt a little vague and without a solution but I feel that this was the effect that Frank Portman was going for. Frank "Dr. Frank" Portman from the band the Mr. T. Experience is certainly an author I want to read more from as well as read some of the other books referenced by Tom, he main character. I'm especially interested in reading Brighton Rock now. King Dork reminded of the experience I felt when I was younger and read Then Again, Maybe I Won't by Judy Blume as it ellicted the emotions of a young boy and all experiences you go through so well. I related a lot to how Tom felt, his alienation from the other kids, his isolation inside his own mind and how things sound much better inside than when spoken. 2007-11-18 05:40:00 I took Chase out today for some obedience training with some other friends. Did I mention that I had him out Thursday night to class and he was a mess? A complete mess. No attention, no focus, no brain, all over the place. Even having treats out. Today was about the same. He growled and lunged in his crate at the other dogs working. He did have a little bit of attention, more than Thursday, but I was still not pleased. My trainers, and I as well, think he’s been down too long. It’s hard with a sprained ankle. I should have known something wasn't right, in my infinite wisdom, when it told me "cannot delete Windows, the current file is in use" while trying to delete a folder I didn't think was important. Dorka is one of the most directionless, simple-minded and nugatory games going.Out of all the players a group of 4 or 5 is chosen to be the 'team'. One of these is chosen to be the 'Dorka' and is given a minute to look at each team members' shoes - the idea being to memorise which shoes belong to which person. The 'Dorka' then has a large upturned bucket placed on his head. This acts (as in the game Bucketheads) as both a disorientating device and a partial blindfold. He will only be able to see a small area of the floor close to himself. The 'Dorka' is then taken to the centre of the room and spun around numerous times until quite dizzy.
