Flashy Chestnut Arab, Warmblood mare
2008-06-07 04:47:00 Miranda is a flashy 15.1 hh Arabian/Warmblood mare with a flaxen mane and tail. Email me more pictures or a video clip of her. She has had some professional dressage training and goes on the bit and does lovely lateral work. She also has been started over low fences. She is also excellent on trail rides. Miranda is an excellent broodmare and has had 2 foals previously. She is currently open, but we could sell her with a breeding to our dark bay TB stallion. Miranda has been used for lessons with Intermediate level riders. She is being sold b/c we are cutting back our lesson program. She has done well in lessons, but I believe she would do best with a regular rider who could show her so that she could reach her full potential. Miranda is also quick and agile, so I believe she has good potential as a gymkhanna horse. The picture is of Miranda as a foal. I hope to get some more recent pictures of Miranda posted eventually.

Hardly Angels - Female Motorcycle Drill Team - Heading to Japan
2008-05-26 15:00:00 A group of local female motorcycle riders -- a self-described "chorus line on wheels" -- is taking its act to Japan to perform during a rally at the base of Mount Fuji. It will be the women's third appearance there. "We're treated like rock stars over there," group member Jody Bernard said after a recent dress rehearsal. The women call themselves "The Hardly Angels" and have been performing together for 14 years. They left for Japan last week. Bernard said the women formed the group after getting interested in riding through their husbands, and they wanted to become more proficient with their bikes. What started with figure eights soon became more complex, and one rider, Lynell Corbett, who had a background in dance, pushed the women to organize an act, thus becoming the first all-woman motorcycle drill team. More than a decade later, the group continues to be the only such team, which is why they are...

Does Spanish walk,Made history in the Longriders Guild
2008-05-23 04:58:00 This Bravio grandson made history being the only Andalusian in the US to be inducted into the Longriders guild. He was given the name Sam Bass for that ride in honor of another endurance horse in history. Ram, as he is called here has dressage training, works bridless, has been around cattle, has some trick training, If you have to ask about loading, shoeing, traffic etc, remember he was ridden across the US on main highways. Yes he is fine! He is gentle, however rider should know what they are doing. What ever you ask of him, he WILL do. This horse is fast, has allot of power and will not tire. Im selling him due to the fact I no longer ride him. Ram has also done some Fox Hunting. Ram has been living on the ranch for the past 5yrs helping out with the cattle.

Beautiful Palomino Mare with a lot of training
2008-04-19 03:02:00 Prissy is a 9 year old 15.2-15.3 hand Palomino mare. She is a wonderful ride with three smooth gaits and super responsive. Has the speed to possibly do barrels or poles but the sensibility to be ridden on the trails or in the arena. Not spooky, quick learner, ties, loads, clips and bathes. She is absolutely gorgeous!!! She is a golden color with a long blonde mane and a tail that drags the ground. She just finished 30 days professional training just to give her nice tune up. She has had tons of training in back ground. She knows her lead changes and works off leg pressure. Her neck rein is incredible. She is UTD on everything negative coggins and on a daily dewormer. I can not say enough good stuff about this horse she will be truely missed. If you have a bad back this horse is for you. She was used for mexican rodeos when she was younger and was even in the rose bowl parade. She has had one foal. She was bred back to a palomino and produced a cremello foal. She would be great...

Marine Drill team: Big deal!
2007-11-11 04:16:00 Big woop! Like the Army couldn't do that if we wanted to. This Marine Corps routine is our warm up! The truth is that our performances are much less publicized because Youtube has a 10 minute limit on video submissions and ours last about 30. To only show 10 minutes would be like only playing the first movement of Beethoven's Ninth. We also have trouble convincing auditoriums to sponsor us because insurance companies view our stunts as too "cutting edge" and are wary of the risks (small children are often frightened by our ferocity). Here's the Marines. Remember Army= Marines X 3. "Thanks" to the usually excellent A Blog for All for subjecting me to this amateurishness. At least we know we don't have anything to worry about. Oh and do remember Valour IT (The Army one in on my sidebar).
