2008-07-31 13:42:00 Dragon's Den or Dungeons and DragonsI have had look at some of the going on's with the new series of Dragon's Den on BBC, I did not think it could get worse, but they have surpassed themselves. I think this is a nice fantasy show, when I know serious entrepreneurs that are looking for investment, they would never get a look in on the series as they would be too smart, to well prepared, and the Dragons would not be able to rip them off. There maybe the odd good proposal but they will not get a reasonable chance to pitch it they can't entertain, I had a look at the offerings so far:`Layline' - essentially a double bedsheet with a seam down the middle to tell your partner when he/she has trespassed into your personal bed space.'D4M', four young women who supplied unique installations for events, such as a human table and a talking tree'A' machine that turned air into water 'Saboteur'. a fake TV, which gives the impression that someone is home, online diamond business called ...

Gary Gygax, the father of Dungeons and Dragons, died on Tuesday aged 69.Its hard to know what to say about someone who has had such a monumental impact on our geek culture, and was instrumental in the birth of Fantasy Role Playing Games.Without him my early teenage years would certainly have been a lot less fun.Gary, we salute you.

The update, which is now available online for all DDO players,introduces a host of new features, the most important of which are the increase in the level cap (to 16), and the addition of a new 12-man raid (which is now the largest group encounter in the title). It may be a cliché sentiment regarding MMOs, but if your only experience of DDO was during its disastrous launch, you really should take another look. 2007-04-09 12:23:00 Dungeons and Dragons premiered on the 1st of September 1983 and lasted on the 1st of December 1985 tackles the exploits of six kids who goes in an amusement park and decide to take a ride on what they called Dungeons and Dragons.The six youngsters was mysteriously transported into the world of swords and sorcery. They were greeted by a mysterious man known as the Dungeon Master. The six kids namely Hank, Presto, Eric, Diana, Sheila and her younger brother Bobby were given by Dungeon Master magical items for them to fight monsters and for them to defend themselves. Hank, the Ranger was given a bow that creates arrow of energy, Presto, the Magician were given a hat of magic spells, Eric, the Cavalier was given a shield, Diana, the Acrobat was given an expendable javelin, Sheila, the Thief was given a cloak and Bobby, the Barbarian was given a club.
