A GSM Earpiece That Lets You Cheat in Exams
2008-02-19 02:06:00 This is a micro-size wireless spy earpiece. Its extremely small and designed for people that need instructions sent to them without anyone else being able to tell. You may have seen earpieces worn by television presenters having instructions radioed to them by a director. Those are usually visible with an earpiece attached to an ear or a piece of wire hanging by the side of an ear, although modern pieces are are much better at hiding it from the viewers. This device, on the other hand, is designed to be totally invisible, making it conducive to a scenario involving surveillance. Copyright © 2008 Spy Review. Earpiece Used to Cheat in Exams
2007-08-21 09:55:00 BBC News have recently reported that a Canadian company called Examear is targeting students with marketing to cheat in exams with a covert earpiece. The covert earpiece is designed to work with MP3 players and mobile phones. Since the devices are so small, it becomes exceptionally difficult for exam invigilators to detect them. I’ve reported on covert earpieces before, but this is the first time that I’ve seen earpieces targeted so directly at a market group. I remember how difficult exams were for me (it wasn’t that long ago I sat them), but cheating really does discredit the whole point of exams! Original news story on BBC News, and Examear. Lobeman Earpiece FM Radio ? 2-Pack - $4.99
2007-07-31 07:00:00 Viktor 375-B: See, there?s the scar, right there behind my ear. Bobb M-99-9: Whoa. Man. Laara V77-9L: Did it hurt? Viktor 375-B: Yeah, it hurt like hell. Still does. But it?s not like I had a choice, right? The Directorate has spoken. So when are you guys getting yours done? Bobb M-99-9: Got an appointment at the Biodrome next Jebsday morning. Laara V77-9L: Actually, you know, I was thinking maybe I wouldn?t get one. Viktor 375-B: What? But you heard the decree. Bobb M-99-9: The Directorate says all citizens must have FM radios implanted into their skulls, to receive emergency alerts in the event of alien attack. It?s a matter of planetary security. Laara V77-9L: Yeah, I know. But see, I?ve got this Lobeman Earpiece FM Radio that works just as well. It clamps on tight, the battery lasts 20 hours, the reception is great ? and it doesn?t require a Directorate surgeon to go digging around inside my skull. I mean, think about it: do you have any idea what those guys really do to you w...
Rechargable Covert Bionic Earpiece
2007-07-30 10:58:00 The bionic earpiece is a blend of technologies but is fundamentally a form of hearing aid. You use it as if it was an audio amplifier like the toy spy ears, but the bionic earpiece has been designed to hide inside the ear much like an inductive earpiece. With a built-in sensitive microphone and powerful amplifier, you can hear distant sounds clearly and discretely. The bionic earpiece has an adjustable volume control and a number of ear fittings. This allows you to tailor the earpiece to fit into your ear comfortably. The main unit is rechargeable, therefore saving you a small fortune in expensive batteries. I would expect that this device has limited audio amplification, since it would be difficult to orientate the microphone in the direction of the target. I would prefer to use a directional microphone and then use earphones traditionally used with an MP3 player, such as an ipod. Just as covert, and much more flexible in an operational situation. You can find the bionic earpiece o...

BANG & OLUFSEN JUMP INTO THE BLUETOOTH EARPIECE GAME
2007-02-21 19:57:02 As the cliche goes, ?better late than never.? B & O is the latest company to jump onto the wireless bluetooth earpiece fray with their ?Earset 2.? Fortunately for them, there?s much room for improvement in this sector of the wireless market. The look is very minimalist in a brushed aluminum and black kind of way, but this ear piece is hardly inconspicuous. The fact still remains that most wireless users would sacrifice size for call quality and comfort. We haven?t personally tested the Earset 2, but with a background noise canceling feature and it weighing in at .8 ounces, doesn?t hurt its prospects. The reviews have been decent thus far encompassing everything from consumers who love the sound quality and comfort, to those that hate the design and the fact that you can only wear it one ear (you must purchase either a left or a right version). We?re pretty confident that Bang & Olufsen wouldn?t put out this headset if it didn?t meet their high quality standards. But, at ... |
