Israel has understandably concluded it cannot depend on the U.S. for support. In the midst of the turmoil, Israel is particularly vulnerable and will be until the current ...

Chuck Fleischmann wishes East Tennesseans a Merry Christmas
2011-12-25 00:24:00
CHATTANOOGA ? Congressman Chuck Fleischmann wished those in the 3rd District a Merry Christmas."I want to wish everyone in East Tennessee a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I am glad to be home in Tennessee to celebrate with my family. In my first year in office I have learned that often what goes on in Washington is simply a distraction when compared to what really matters in this great nation of ours. It is being around the table with your family and celebrating the birth of Christ that truly matters. There will always be time for politics, but let?s celebrate this time together and remember the true reason for the season," Fleischmann said.### Dec 24, 2011 Issues: Congressional Issues TEXT and IMAGE CREDIT: Congressman Chuck Fleischmann Washington, DC 511 Cannon HOB Washington, DC 20515 Phone: (202) 225-3271 Fax: (202) 225-3494 Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM Eastern time

Hernandez Was A Grand Gator As Patriots Cruise To AFC East Title
2011-12-19 04:05:00
One former University of Florida Gator got all the pregame pub this week, that was of course, Denver QB Tim Tebow.  But it was another former Florida Gator, a former Tebow target in fact, New England TE Aaron Hernandez who stole the show Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver CO. Hernandez led the Patriots to a 41-23 win over the Broncos and helped New England clinch it?s third consecutive AFC East Title and 9th in the last 11 seasons with a 9 catches for 129 yards and 1 TD performance. While the Denver defense was looking to take away Hernandez? counterpart, TE Rob Gronkowski they, they left the Connecticut native wide open to steal the game for New England. It didn?t start out so good though as Tebow and the Broncos offense absolutely shredded the Patriots porous defense.   In the 20 minutes they racked up 133 yards on the ground alone plus another 68 yards by Tebow through the air as Denver jumped out to a 16-7 lead early in the 2nd quarter.  ...

UConn Spoils Rutgers Big East Title Hopes
2011-11-26 21:22:00
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights came into this game looking to secure a share of the Big East title and a possible BCS bid. The UConn Huskies were looking to salvage their season and get closer to becoming bowl-eligible as well as sending off the seniors with a final home win. The Huskies were able to take advantage of some early Rutgers turnovers and good field position on their way to a 40-22 win over the Scarlet Knights in front of 37,857 on Senior Day at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, CT on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies improve to 5-6 (3-3 Big East) while the Scarlet Knights finish their regular season at 8-4 (4-3). Last week, the Huskies allowed the Louisville Cardinals to take the opening kickoff back for a touchdown and that essentially took themselves out of the ball game. Saturday was a different story as the opening kickoff went out of the end zone. The Huskies quickly turned the tables on Rutgers when Sio Moore forced a fumble by Rutgers RB Jawan Jamison that was recove...

And there's a strong chance the hometown team could take the local kid. Moore worked out at the Berto Center (Bulls practice facility in Deerfield, IL) And what feedback did the Bulls give him? "Told me to be myself and try to get as strong as I can," Moore said. He said the feedback was similar to what he's heard from other franchises, but overall it varies from team to team....
