Echochrome Demo out tomorrow on PSN
2008-04-24 02:32:00 Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. (SCEI) decided to go with something simple, yet addictively fun when they thought up the concept of Echochrome for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. During the latest post on the PlayStation Blog made by the game’s Associate Producer, Kumi Yuasa, she announced that the free demo of Echochrome will become available tomorrow for both the PSP and PS3 platforms. The demos will introduce players to the game through a brief tutorial as well as give them a basic idea on how to go about solving the different puzzles. Both versions will feature 56 exclusive levels, with the possibility of additional downloadable levels to follow in the future. To help entice people with the game’s innovative gameplay, a new video was featured on the site, showing off the five different laws of perspective the game flaunts. 2008-02-09 09:55:00 Echochrome Holds Hefty Pricetags Echochrome may look like an extremely basic game from a visual standpoint, but it’s interesting twist on puzzle solving puts it into a completely unique and entertaining category. Unfortunately though, it belongs to two different categories as far as the Playstation 3 and PSP are concerned. While the title will be releasing on both consoles, it has been assigned a very strange and quite expensive price difference on both formats in Japan. The title costs approximately $17US in Japan, which in itself is really on the expensive side for downloadable content. However, when you compare it to how much PSP users will be forking out, approximately $37US based on the Japanese prices, suddenly that $17 dollars doesn’t seem so bad.
