A week spent North, primarily helping Nana learn the ins and outs of her CD player and repetitive lessons on how one retrieves their messages from telecoms message centre. We did shopping which included a new digital clock for beside her bed only to discover it didn’t work. I hate that and begrudgingly returned offending technological advancement to the store. Technology has advanced, it would seem, to digital clocks having dimmer dials which one is supposed to turn up if you want to see the “not working” display. Hmpf. I also got some gardening done. One of our wild ducks is still the proud Mum of 5 thriving cuties, no small feat when you’re in the real world.
